POS1411 EARLY IDENTIFICATION OF AXIAL SPONDYLOARTHRITIS IN A MULTI-ETHNIC ASIAN POPULATION

Background: To facilitate earlier diagnosis of spondyloarthritis (SpA), we have previously cross-culturally adapted a self-administered screening questionnaire. Objectives: We aimed to improve the sensitivity this questionnaire as tool by comparing various scoring methods. Methods: Subjects newly referred rheumatology clinic before seeing rheumatologist. Identification axial SpA using original (Method A) and based on Assessment SpondyloArthritis International Society (ASAS) inflammatory back pain (IBP) criteria B), ASAS referral C), classification D) combination E) were compared Since Methods B-E features, self-reported vs rheumatologist-documented features in subjects with SpA. Results: Of 1418 (age: 54 ± 14 years, female: 73%), 39 classified cases criteria. A-E yielded sensitivities 39%, 72%, 67%, 49% 85%, respectively, among patients (Table 1). Rheumatologist-documented clinical exceeded self-report for IBP (62 44%) uveitis (15 5%). The reverse was true arthritis (21 80%), enthesitis (28 33%), dactylitis (3 18%), good response NSAIDs (33 41%) family history (5 10%). Table 1.
